I'm one of the people who rushed form their office, went to the cinema and watched the third installment of my favorite superhero, Spiderman 3. We we're so lucky that this movie was theatered earlier here than the worldwide release of May 4.
Glorrieta wa our first stop... and we did not continue to watch to that place because the cinema is jampacked with pips wanting to check the latest movie of our friendly neighborhood. Me, Chris and Kirk went to Alabang festival Mall instead. Not a suprised though, the eight out of 10 movie house in the mall was occupied by Spidey. We bought our tickets at around 5:30pm and went the cinema 1 even our mobie time will start at 6:40 pm. good thing we did that, If not we will not have any seat.
I really enjoyed the movie. Great effects, good performance by the actors and a breakthough expectators made the movie the biggerst selling movie for the first day showing... a remarkable blockbuster!

the movie had a total gross for Tuesday, May 1 of $29.15 million --- 86% bigger than the same territories opened on Spider-Man 2 ($15.6 million) and 175% bigger than the same territories opened on Spider-Man ($10.6 million).

Philippines – 45.6 million Pesos ($1.1) --- Biggest single day of all time, 39% bigger than previous record held by the opening weekend Sunday of Spider-Man 2 (32.7). Bigger than the opening days of Spidey 1 & 2 combined (42 million.) The 51 million opening day is 1/3 of the lifetime gross of Spider Man 1, which was at the time was the biggest film of all time. First film ever to gross $1 million in a single day.
So don't be suprised if you see little kids doing some webby things out of thier hands, they might just watched the film. hahhaa. check out the movie clip :p
