Marie Digby's album is out in the Market ;P

If you’re looking for a fresh new artist to get hooked on this spring, look no further than musical artist Marie Digby. The 24 year old singer began writing music back when she was still in high school in L.A. She then went on to U.C. Berkley only to drop out after a year of schooling to pursue her music career.

Digby got her start after she won the Pantene Pro-Voice music competition in 2004 with her autobiographical song "Miss Invisible”. In 2007, Digby began posting videos of herself singing songs on YouTube and eventually became noticed by the public eye. Although she was criticized for “astroturfing”, or hiding the fact that she was not an amateur singer, Digby says the YouTube posts were are in no way connected to promoting her career. Digby’s YouTube videos prove to how talented the singer really is, as she has recomposed and sang other artists’ songs.

Digby’s album “Unfold” was released on April 8, 2008. Currently, her Single "Say It Again" is number 9 in Philippine Hot 100 and is about to turn Gold here in the Phil. Kudos to her :P
