At first, I really don't get it why people is into this novel by Stephanie Mayers. I do have a copy of the first 3 books but i do not have time on reading. Since there is a movie adaptation of the first book "Twilight", checked it in the cinema and to my surprise it is above expectation. I guess its a mistake of me to thought of it as another vampire movie.
The pro of this movie is that the appeal of the theme is ranging to all ages and the film redefine the concept of the "cold ones". Hmmm, given the time I will dig into the specifics of this movie on its written format.
The downer for this movie, is that the movie has less effects than what a "vampire" movie. Well I guess this is how a $35 Mil movie will turn out. But the 5 day gross of $70 Mil have something to say about these blood suckers! :P
